Volunteer with CRC

Whether you are interested in helping seniors, helping at our food pantry or at our fundraisers and special events, volunteering at CRC is a terrific way to give back. Special Events & Fundraisers

Village in the Ville Garage Sale: Sat. August 11, in the CRC parking lot, 3222 N. High St. ,volunteer to help raise money for CRC’s Village in the Ville program. Visit our Garage Sale Volunteer Sign up   to get involved.

CRC Third Thursday’s:  August 16 and September 20, in the CRC parking lot, 3222 N. High St., parking lot, volunteer for our monthly live music and food truck event.

  •          Help set up tents, tables, chairs and other supplies:  3pm – 5pm
  •          Help clean up/tear down and move all supplies back to storage space:  9pm – 10pm


Crest Fest: Saturday, August 18, volunteer at the CRC booth during the annual South Clintonville block party, help with kid’s activity, and help promote CRC work in the community. Check out the festival details.

Available Crest Fest Volunteer Shifts:

  • CRC Booth and Tear Down: 5pm – 7 pm


Bill Cohen Concert: Friday, August 31, 9pm, Overbrook Presbyterian Church, help clean up and tear down tables and chairs after the concert. Proceeds from the concert will benefit CRC senior programs.

Other Volunteer Needs



Vehicle cleaning: Help keep our vehicle fleet clean for our seniors and youth by helping to wash our cars and buses.

Senior Medical Driver: We have an immediate need for volunteers to drive seniors to medical appointments, weekday schedule varies, must have own car.

Food Pantry

Good News! After three months or Lakeview Food Pantry is back open for business! We are going back to our weekly volunteer schedule at the pantry starting this week.

Monday Lunch Program:  11am – noon, make sack lunches and serve to clients, food provided, 3 – 4 volunteers needed every Monday.

Lakeview Food Pantry: 14 W. Lakeview, Tuesdays, 6pm – 7pm, help unload fresh produce from the Mid-Ohio Food Bank truck.

Lakeview Food Pantry: 14 W. Lakeview, Wednesdays, 10am – noon, help divide produce for pick up.

Lakeview Food Pantry: 14 W. Lakeview, Wednesdays, noon – 6pm, help distribute fresh produce. Volunteers are welcome to come any time during this time frame.

Lakeview Food Pantry: 14 W. Lakeview, Thursdays, 12pm – 5pm, help process food donations.

Lakeview Food Pantry: 14 W. Lakeview, Fridays, 9am – 11am, help unload canned good delivery and stock shelves.

Senior Services

Senior Breakfast Club: second Thursday of every month, North Broadway United Methodist Church, 10am – 1:30pm, help set up, serve, and clean up at the monthly senior potluck and fellowship event.

Senior Group Grocery Trips: assist seniors shopping and checking out during the group grocery trips. Schedule varies. Trips include Aldi’s, Giant Eagle, Lucky’s Market, and Walmart.

Senior Home Repair: help seniors with everyday home repair work, such as: painting, drain cleaning, screen window installations, handrail installation, household chores, and other home maintenance.

Senior House Cleaning: help seniors with light household cleaning as needed.

Senior Tech Help: help seniors with computer issues such as setting up programs and trouble shooting.

Senior Lawn Mowing: sign up to mow a senior’s lawn for the summer season. Must have lawn mower and be able to transport.

Yard Work: Help with yard work for our senior clients, great project for groups or families.
