OSU Ross Heart Hospital Tri-Fit Challenge
Sunday, July 22, sign up to be a bike course marshal captain during the annual triathlon, posts are along High St, volunteers will receive a t-shirt and entrance to the post-race celebration at OSU Stadium. CRC will receive a donation based on the number of volunteers we recruit!
Village in the Ville Garage Sale
Sat. August 11, CRC parking lot, 3222 N. High St, volunteer to help raise money for CRC’s Village in the Ville program. Help with donation drop off days, set-up/clean-up, working at checkout or roving during the sale:
Saturday, August 19th, volunteer at CRC booth during the annual South Clintonville block party, help with kid’s activity and help promote CRC work in the community.
Due to the Renovation of our Family Services and CHOICE Food Pantry there will be no Tuesday produce deliveries, no Wednesday produce packing or distribution and no Friday canned goods. Renovation is scheduled for completion July 2018
During Renovation, CRC Family Services will provide:
Food Pantry hours: CRC Annex, 3230 N. High St, 12pm -4pm, Monday - Friday.
We WILL need volunteers to help at the CRC Annex. If you are available during these hours please feel free to show up!
Senior Breakfast Club
Second Thursday of every month, North Broadway United Methodist Church, 10am – 1:30pm, help set up, serve and clean up at the monthly senior potluck and fellowship event.
Senior Group Grocery Trips
assist seniors shopping and checking out during the group grocery trips, schedule varies, trips include Aldi’s, Giant Eagle, Lucky’s Market and Walmart.
Senior Home Repair
help seniors with everyday home repair work, such as painting, drain cleaning, install screen windows, and install handrails, household chores and other home maintenance.
Senior House Cleaning
help senior with light household cleaning as needed.
Senior Tech Help
help seniors with computer issues, setting up programs and trouble shooting.
Senior Lawn Mowing
sign up to mow a senior’s lawn for the summer season, must have lawn mower and be able to transport.
Senior Medical Driver
Drive seniors to medical appointments, weekday schedule varies, must have own car.
Spring Yard Work
Help with spring yard work for our senior clients, great project for groups or families.
